Derek graduated from The University of Greensboro with a B.S in International Business with a focus in marketing, and a minor in Spanish.
With an extensive network, Derek has a robust career working with Chevrolet, Lenovo, and is now the Enterprise Account Manager at Cisco.
Derek’s network also includes ties with 100 Black Men of America Inc, National Urban League Young Professionals Network, and many other groups.
Derek continues to promote the importance of collaboration in the community, focused on bringing access and opportunities to the youth served by Alley Oop Hoops.
